Weekend Breaks
We provide short break weekend respite care at Glebe Cottage for a maximum of three people.
To access this you can contact us directly or you could be referred by your Social Worker.
The weekend break service is available throughout the year, starting on Friday afternoon and ending Sunday afternoon.
On Friday evening, clients choose the activities and trips out for the weekend. These often include, ten pin bowling, going to the cinema, pub and shopping.
The service is totally person centred and all of the staffing, activities and accommodation is planned around the needs of the clients attending in a particular weekend
The service is registered and monitored for compliance by the CQC.

A personal budget or a direct payment endorsed by social services is required to access the weekend break.
