Skills for Independent Living and Work

At Glebe House we recognize that planning for the future is an essential part of growing up. The new Skills for Independant Living and Work service, which runs on a Wednesday and Thursday, helps give young adults a new suite of skills which will help them as they grow up.

The service is less formal than college and includes cooking skills, domestic skills as well as money management. The participants will be encouraged to take up volunteer oportunities as well as develop all the elements needed to live a more independent life, such as travel, healthy eating and shopping.
