Flexible services for people with learning disabilities and autism

Welcome To Glebe House

Helping you to achieve your potential !

Glebe House is an independent charity that supports adults and children with learning disabilities.  We provide a wide range of day services for people of all ages in Leicestershire, which are all aimed at improving the lives of the people we support and the lives of those who support them. We are always ready to discuss new service provision for people with personal budgets or direct payments. We are a safe, effective, caring and well led organisation and we are responsive to your needs. We put the wellbeing of everyone we support at the heart of the organisation.

Jeremy Meadows-who is part of the Lloyds Bank team- organised over 50 volunteers to come to Loughborough from all over the country to work on the garden at The Old School and also carry out much needed decoration and maintenance at  Glebe Cottage. It was a fantastic day and we cant thank all the volunteers enough. http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/LloydsBSU2016GiveandGain.

If you can help support the cause-please do!

Glebe House has pledged its commitment to the Driving Up Quality standard which aimed to improve services for people with learning disabilities. This is achieved by:-

Ø  Driving up quality in services for people with learning disabilities that goes beyond minimum standards

Ø  Creating and building a passion in the learning disability sector to provide high quality, values-led services

Ø  Providing a clear message to the sector and the wider population about what is and what is not acceptable practice

Ø  Promoting a culture of openness and honesty in organisations

Ø  Promoting the celebration and sharing of the good work that is already out there.
